About Kerry

County Kerry ( Irish : Contae Chiarraí ), nicknamed The Kingdom (“The Kingdom”), is a county located in the South West of Ireland, between the River Shannon to the north and the Atlantic Ocean to the Where is. It is bounded to the east by County Limerick and to the south by that of Cork. Its name comes from the Irish Chiarraí, which means “people of Ciar”, in reference to a Celtic tribe that lived in this region.
